Talking Tins

Talking Tins are a great, quick way to record sound. There are different colours which have different lengths of record time from 10 to 60 seconds. They can be used to create interactive sound walls, record tasks for children, record replies to questions and much, much more. they can be supplied with a book of classroom ideas :-D

Talking Photo Albums

These are great for a whole host of reasons! Talking photograph albums are easy to use, and reusable.
  • Use pictures of the children and record their name, favourite colour, food, game etc
  • Retell events
  • Use images from stories and record phrases from the story
  • Take photos of colour objects and topic related objects, record their names.
Please feel free to add more suggestions....

Poisson Rouge - a wonderful site!
Prepare to spend a long time on this site. Adults and children alike find it fascinating. Some activities work really well on an Interactive Whiteboard, particularly the number blocks. Numbers 7 and 8 are my favourites.
The alphabets are great too, the second giving some French vocabulary :-)

Don't forget to press F11 to take off the address bar and run 'full screen'. F11 toggles it back again too.

Welcome to Digital Butterflies.
I am hoping to use this blog to collect electronic resources to support the use of ICT in Early Learning.
